Your Role
Our client is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join their office based in Chichester. In this role you will be working on a varied caseload of private client matters, including: Wills, Powers Of Attorney, Trusts, LPA’s and Estate Management. You will be dealing with estates of a variable size depending on the client requirements. Ideally you would have a STEP qualification but they can support you working towards this if required. You must be able to self-manage, and work alongside their in-house administrative team.
Duties
- Confident in managing a varied caseload of private client matters independently.
- Dealing with probate administration, tax and trusts matters.
- Assisting with the preparation, drafting, and checking of various deeds relating the administration of trusts and estates
- Drafting wills, codicils and related trust documents using established precedents
- Dealing with probate administration, tax and trusts matters.
- Dealing with all aspects of inheritance tax related advice.
- Dealing with correspondence and liaising directly with clients and third parties
The Candidate
- You will need to be a solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience.
- You must be experienced within probate and providing advice.
- Able to prioritise your own workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Have excellent attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach
